Oakville Transit connects with the GO trains at Clarkson, Oakville, Bronte and Appleby GO stations. You can also connect to GO bus services at Oakville GO station, Sheridan College, Highway 407 GO Carpool at Trafalgar Road and Highway 407 GO Carpool at Dundas Street west of Walkers Line in Burlington.
Your Oakville Transit fare is free when connecting to or from GO Transit service. Simply tap your PRESTO card and your fare discount will be calculated automatically. A valid, paper GO Transit single-ride ticket and paper day pass ticket will also be accepted as proof of payment. Please show your valid paper GO ticket to the driver to receive the discount. The co-fare discount is valid for two hours if you start your trip on Oakville Transit and three hours if you start on GO Transit.
GO Transit Group Passes and GO Transit e-tickets are not accepted for co-fare discounts.
Oakville Transit connects with MiWay at South Common Centre, Clarkson GO station, and at Laird Road and Ridgeway Drive. You may also make connections along the Oakville-Mississauga border where our bus routes connect.
You are encouraged to flag the bus down if you are waiting for the Oakville bus in Mississauga.
PRESTO card users do not have to ask the bus driver for a transfer, it is automatically stored on the card, allowing you to travel for two hours from the time of the first tap-on; this includes PRESTO monthly pass holders. Load your PRESTO card with funds for your return fare on MiWay, Oakville Transit monthly passes are not accepted on MiWay for your return trip.
Paper transfers are accepted unless expired.
MiWay paper tickets are not accepted. MiWay paper passes are accepted at connecting locations to continue the next trip into Oakville. A transfer will not be issued. Oakville Transit paper monthly pass holders must request a paper transfer from the last Oakville Transit bus before transferring to MiWay.
