Oakville Transit will provide holiday service on Saturday, July 1. Holiday service is the same as Sunday level of service, provided from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Monday, July 3, Oakville Transit will operate regular service.
Oakville's 2023 Canada Day Celebration
New for 2023, the Town of Oakville is offering free Oakville Transit shuttle services between the Canada Day Celebration at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park and the Bronte GO Station.
The shuttle service begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs approximately every 10 minutes.
The last shuttle to the park leaves Bronte GO Station at 9:30 p.m.
Return shuttle service to Bronte GO station will begin once the fireworks display has ended.
Routes 3 and 14/14A detour
Due to road closures in the Bronte Village area for the event, Routes 3 and 14/14A will be detoured starting approximately 4 p.m. on July 1.
Route 3 will use Third Line and Rebecca Street to South Oakville Centre. It will not travel to Bronte Road and Lakeshore Road West.
Route 14/14A will use Rebecca Street and Mississaga Street to and from Lakeshore Road West.
